Dixie is an beautiful, smooth, comfortable mover who has an amazing future ahead of him. He is by Jump Start who is a favorite TB sire in the sport horse world. Only ONE START.
His last (and only start) was 4/14/23. He had nearly two months of let down time and is ready to get started your way.
Dixie was given plenty of time to grow before his breeder/owners allowed him to make his first start in April as a 4 year old.
Unfortunately for them, he did not show Stake horse potential they were hoping for and have decided to move him on to a better suited career.
Dixie has been in professional training for a month, with the primary focus being dressage. He hacks around the ring, WTC on a loose rein, but he is also learning bending and connection. He as the most comfortable canter and just lopes along. He also enjoys hacking around the farm.
He has popped over a few cross rails with a very casual attitude.
Amateur friendly! This horse would be a lovely project for a professional looking for their next upper level horse or a Junior or amatuer looking for their first re-start. He is just so EASY!
Stands on cross ties, good for farrier, good to bathe. Loads, trailers and waits patiently. Great barn manners, no vices.
